Not So Epic Singapore Trip December 23, 2011

Just said it was epic so Streamyx would feel bad that I couldn’t blog about it earlier. Lol. As if! Though I said I have nothing to write about Singapore, I actually managed to whittle down the few photos I have down to a few-er 30 pictures… :)

On the 8th of December, Tron and I drove down to Singapore… it’s a long story as to why we went early November and then going down again in December. To cut a long story short, let’s just say that Tron and I love Singapore (partially true anyway)! As always, we stayed at our favorite place – Carlton Hotel. :D Well, it’s actually Tron’s favorite place. He says the location is super good, but I think I can find equally good deals through Agoda for more high-brow places. *confident* Later, I found out the TRUTH, which is “good location” means “near to guitar stores”. FFFFUUUU.

On our first day there, we mainly walked around the area (which meant guitar shops), Raffles Shopping Center, etc. I went crazy in all the drugstores there… but to see what I bought, you gotta check out Drugstore Love instead. :P Yes, I update that way more frequently than I do here. Why? Well, because my ads there are almost nearing cash-out time! Muwahahahhaa. When I do actually cash out, I’ll blog about my $$ making experience there. [Talking as if it can make me enough bread to quit my day job... far from it!]

We stumbled across this place.. not sure the shopping mall that we were in as they all kinda look the same to me. It’s called Tomatoes and the attracting factor is that they serve larger-than-usual pizzas at pretty affordable prices. The place smells a bit smokey (like they burnt something – maybe they did), but the pizza is awesome. Very fresh and delicious, and even the dough is soft and super yummy! Tron and I really liked the place, and the funny & upbeat staff working there too… thumbs up, thumbs up!!

Also very happy because on the first day, we managed to eat at Sho Teppan, the really nice cook-it-yourself Japanese place in Raffles Shopping Place. =) No pictures, because its same as before. The Xmas decorations are up though, here are some from the first day :

Went to Vivocity the next day. It’s really my fave shopping mall in Sg, and since I didn’t get to go in November, I was so happy to be back. =) It’s very hard to get Tron to go to places that I want to go too, but this time he had his own agenda in Vivocity, so he was very accomodating. You want to know what it is? He wanted to find a very specific pendant for his mom which she last saw in Vivocity in one of those small vendor stalls. Trust me when I say it’s specific… this holiday can be also dubbed as “The Search for Tron’s Mom’s Pendant”. We search all small vendor stalls possible in Vivocity, and even the higher end stores that sell pendants on white gold necklaces… it was only on our last day in Singapore that we decided it really cannot be found and got the next best thing.

In Vivocity, I was happy to try Serenity (Spanish “fine dining” – I put the quotes there because to me it’s fine dining, but to really rich people, this could just be their everyday snacks), and introduce Spanish food to Tron. Tron said he never had Spanish food before! We had :

So hard to get this boy to behave himself, seriously. People want to treat him to good food and the restaurant opens at 11am… what does he do? At 10:45am he says he wants to eat something else. Like some random bun from Carrefour to spoil his appetite! Made me so angry wei!!

The super good, fresh, hot-out-of-the-oven bread and aioli… this is like a must-have starter at Serenity!

Beef tapas that Tron suggested… not sure of the exact name, just sure that it’s quite yummy!

Catalonian pork soup. A bit on the salty side, but a very home-y, comforting kind of soup. Once again, the two of us ordered too much! At this point, about 75% full already…

We split a paella valenciana between the two of us. To me, the dish seems a bit off. Not as nice as I remember it to be. Maybe the paella arroz negro would be a better choice… anyway, I was happy cos Tron said it’s really good and wolfed it down. The generous portion makes this my staple choice whenever I visit this restaurant. =)

This boy is happy eating burgers everyday, so I’m also happy that he agreed to accompany me for something different. Glad that he likes it too!!

After walking around Vivocity, we wanted to have a drink. We had seen a Gong Cha there earlier in the day, and since never tried it in Malaysia, thought of trying it there. But seems like Singaporeans are freaks for Gong Cha! The line was insane! I managed to try Gong Cha in Malaysia last week, and it is ok only la… I prefer Chatime. What I tried was the taro milk tea, and I prefer Chatime’s taro milk tea because it is more fibrous, and it makes you feel like it’s really freshly made. The Gong Cha one tastes more powdery.

Anyway, since we didn’t get Gong Cha, we went to Honeymoon Dessert.. yes, they have it in Malaysia too… ~_~”

Walked ` walked ` walked around a whole lot… wound up in Plaza Singapura. Another one of my fave shopping malls in Singapore because it really has all the shops that I like under one roof. =D The Christmas decor nothing to shout about. In fact, it’s the same as when I went in December 2010. Lol! We went back to Cafe Cartel, the place that Tron likes that serves the best “anything pork”. I was actually still super full from the Spanish food, so I really just picked at my pasta (though it’s quite good). Tron managed to finish all his ribs and my pasta as well! Insanity. I was mostly focused on reading The New Paper. I have to get this newspaper whenever I’m in Singapore. Just check out the article I’m reading — it’s about a father who catches his 12 year old sending topless photos to a 19 year old… who has had sex with her. OMG. So crazy right… why so many paedophilic people in the world…

At night, we just walked around the shopping malls near our area, which is the City Link (not sure of the name) and almost walked to Suntec already. Nothing special, except that I tried the Garretts Popcorn. I didn’t even have the interest to try it, but Tron insisted because he says his sis is mad about the stuff. He bought a packet of CHEESE flavored popcorn, and it wasn’t melted cheese like what I imagined it to be, but the powdery cheese stuff. I think Cheezels or even Super Ring is better la! The color consistency is about the same anyway. Except that Garretts is SO MUCH OILIER. In the end, we didn’t even finish it because it was staining tissues and paper bags with that bright orange oil that is damn scary. If you wanna try Garretts, pls don’t try the cheese flavor, ok?

I met up with Ben and his friend WR the next day… Ben is so kind, he agreed to meet me at Raffles Shopping Place so that I don’t have to travel so far (and get lost) to find him. We ate at Hand Burger, which really has MASSIVE burgers that are very delicious… it was fun catching up! Too bad it was just for a little over an hour. Thanks for the meal, Bennnnnnn.. :) Nice meeting you toooo WR…. :)

Look at all the cute-ly presented, MASSIVE burgers that we had! Ben says you can’t go wrong introducing this restaurant to others. So next time you’re at Raffles Place, you know what to eat ya… :P That or Sho Teppan! Haha!

Met up with Tron to go to Orchard, cos there was a specific store that we wanted to go to… but it sadly disappointed us. Amused myself briefly, searching for elephants to camwhore with from the Elephant Parade. However, Tron’s photography skills still need improvement… hence, I gave up after seeing how he made me look like the Michelin Man in every single photo (I might have gained weight, but not that much ok!!). On a happy note, managed to introduce Tron to Mr Bean, which he quite likes too!

Random Xmas trees.. honestly I think Malaysia is putting more effort in Xmas decorations, so I don’t see what’s so creative about Sg’reans decorations any more.

It is I – the Asian, female, Michelin Man.

Give the greatest gift this Christmas – the gift of life!

Mr Bean!!!

Rolling good times~

Seal of approval…

After Tron gallantly allowed me to go to H&M, he dragged me dunno how many kilometers to find his guitar stuff.. zomg. I think I really walked til my shoes wanted to fall apart that day.

Dragged me thru Istana to find yet another guitar shop

Awww.. such a pretty elephant. :)

That night, he took me to Bugis Junction, which I think is my 2nd favorite place in Singapore.. It’s suitable for cheapskates like me. =) Tron visited yet another guitar shop after that, but this one I didn’t mind, cos while he was in the guitar shop, I went to a nearby bookstore and I found a book by a Singaporean author that I had been looking out for. However, I’m so pissed at the piece of trash novel I had bought (wasted nearly RM50 on) that I’m going to write a darn bitchy review about it later…. *rubs hands with glee*

You wanna know how bad the book is? The girl names some of her chapters after Avril Lavigne songs and actually includes some of her lyrics in the middle of a paragraph. Like, “He left hanging so high on such a breakable thread.” When I told Ben, he said, “WTF does that even mean!” Ya, my sentiments exactly!!

And finally — on my last day in Singapore, I went to New Creation Church! It is actually one of the “must do” things that Tron and I BOTH had on our lists (one of the things we agreed on, hheehhee). Thanks to his friend, we got very good seats and enjoyed the service. It’s a different experience, and I’m so amazed at Pastor Joseph Prince… he can really transform you with just one sermon. Even though Tron is such a “long believer”, he also can get revelationary truths from the visit to NCC… the musicians are also fantastic… I felt like I was in a rock concert!!

Never been so early to church, haha!

I also really admire Singaporeans cos they are so faithful.. they come so early to line up to go to church. My pastor always says that we are too pampered, because people always come in late and they still have places to sit… sometimes right in front! In NCC, for sure you cannot get place to sit near the front if you are late. You won’t even be able to get into the main hall!

Whirlwind Trip Down South October 30, 2011

So, I went to Singapore on Saturday, and I was back by 2pm this afternoon. :) It was quite a spontaneous decision to go down for a 1 nighter as Tron and I already had plans to go to Singapore in December. The reason? Well, the main reason why we were even going down in December, and why we would be DRIVING DOWN is because he bought a guitar from a friend there. And transporting a guitar by car seems much more convenient than by plane / bus. However, even after we had booked everything for December, he suddenly got an itchy butt and decided that he wanted the guitar right away. Can’t wait to hold it in his hands. Can’t wait to caress its body every night. -___- So we just went for a random trip this weekend!

Apologies to my friends in Sg for not meeting up (actually, only one friend lololol), but we shall catch up in December, k? I really don’t remember what we did in Singapore. Seemed like quite a long trip, and yet, also a really short one!

We left Subang at 5:10am in the morning in order to reach Singapore by 9:30am! It was crazy! I also stayed up late the night before to create a compilation of songs to play on the way there. One folder was the latest hits (stuff I like), and the other folder was this 500 oldies songs that Tron had passed to me. When we were listening to the latest hits, he kept switching off / turning down the volume of the songs, saying it’s too noisy. -__-” And then asked me why I like songs like that. T___T By “like that”, he meant stuff like : Turbulence (Lil Jon, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke), Freak (Klaas ft Bodybangers), everything by LMFAO, Carte Blanche, Kaskade, David Guetta err…. basically a lot of dance music lah. The only stuff that he didn’t turn down was Selena Gomez (lololol) and Demi Lovato (incidentally, it was a song he told me to download). -___-

On the second link to Singapore.

When I was playing the dance music and dancing in the car, he would comment :
a. “Eh please lah! After the police will stop me cos they think I fed you ecstasy pill.”
b. “Why are you dancing like a bengali?”
Me : “What you mean? I am not doing the ‘screwing a lightbulb while patting a dog dance’.
Him : “WTF, where you learn such things wan.”
c. “Were you born a guy or a girl?” (most wtf statement)

Totally useless as a navigator (I just brought along the GPS), totally crap at song selection (apparently) and totally crap at staying awake to talk to the driver. :(

Anyway, on the way home I was fed up with getting my taste in music shat upon, so I said, “fine!! we will listen to the 500 oldies songs you passed to me.” FYI, he totally forgot he even gave me those tracks, and at first was asking me what songs were being played. Then, I fell asleep so I didn’t need to hear more of his complaints. When I woke up, he switched over to some Hillsongs or something, so I guess we had Sunday worship after all. Lolol.

K, enough about the road trip part, which was actually filled with tears, pain, sweat, grime, etc. When we arrived at Sg, it was obviously too early to check-in, so we went to Raffles Shopping Center to have breakfast. Guess where?

It’s like wherever we go, we have to eat MOS burger… -__-”

This is where we stayed.

We waited at the hotel lobby for Jen (Tron’s friend who he bought the guitar from) to pick us up. We were trading stories about how we first met and how far we’ve come from the “courting” days. I still keep the “courting” SMS-es, messages, etc that he sent me from way back when. When I showed it back to Tron, he said that he cannot believe that he used to write such cheesy things. :) Aww.. but I thought he was really sweet. (Of course lah, otherwise won’t end up dating him.)

Jen is one cool guy, but dunno whether Tron will allow me to blog more about the next 1.5 hours of when we picked up the guitar. Just that we wound up ….

Safely with the guitar in hotel room!

I was really tired after all the travelling, and I honestly do not know how Tron had the energy to still spring around everywhere. After a shower, I took a nap, while he went out to pick out more guitar related stuff and computer stuff. When he came back, he woke me up and said we couldn’t waste our time in Sg sleeping. *yawn* When I checked the time, it’s like he just gave me 1 hour to nap! Anyway, I agreed with him, so we went to have lunch first… and he took me to this awesome place in Raffles Shopping Center called Sho Teppan.

For SGD11.90, we got the teppanyaki marbled pork set, which looks like this :

Rice + salad + miso soup

The pork + mushrooms + veggies in a pan, to be cooked.

How it looks like after cooking.

Usually I’m not a fan of places that require you to cook your own food, especially when you’re already hungry and you just want the food to be in your belly already! However, this place is reallllllly good. The fried pork tastes great with the teppanyaki dip that they provide. It’s so flavorful! Words just fail to describe it. I whacked down everything, down to the last slice of mushroom, the last bit of fried onion. *burp* So, so good. And the service is great as well. =)

((On the way back from Sg, I told Tron that we *have* to go back to Sho Teppan in December… which shouldn’t be a problem if we stay at Carlton again!))

Went to Orchard Road, checked out H&M… if you wanna see my hauls just head over to my my beauty blog. Had no time for dinner, so we just grabbed a bunch of buns from Bread Talk and drinks from 7-11. :P

Lastly, what animal do you think it is? Couldn’t see the head, but I think it’s a buffalo. From the back, Tron said it is an elephant!

Bahau Men January 20, 2011

After last weekend, I’m really tempted to have a “cuti-cuti Malaysia” trip at least once a month! What happened was, a bunch of us (Justin, WanAi, Pauline and myself) drove down to Bahau for WanLi & Trider’s wedding. They are highschool sweethearts, been together for more than a decade! I really admire couples who are practically married to each other before they are even married. So touching! ;)

In case you’re wondering where Bahau is, it’s in Negri Sembilan! We thought of making it one of our “legendary” makan-makan trips, and Pauline even dangled hopes of big prawns & cendol to Justin, so we spent a night there instead of driving back to KL on the same night. Bahau is about an hour away from Bangi, and another hour or so away from Seremban, so despite definitely having lots of makan-makan available in Seremban, it didn’t make sense to drive an hour there and then another hour back to KL. We decided to just nose around Bahau and see what they have available there. :)

WanLi booked us in a hotel called Kiara Inn, which was not where she had her wedding (about 5 minutes drive away only) because she said Kiara Inn was nearer to food stores & had a shopping mall nearby. We were psyched!

Even our journey down to Bahau was eventful. I was the earliest as I had lunch together with Tron before leaving. He was not feeling well, so I sent him back early, leaving a window of time open that was too early to leave to meet my friends, but not enough time to go shopping around. So I decided to meet my friends earlier, and since the meeting place was the office, decided to go in to the office to do work. When I arrived at the office, the tagging in thing couldn’t work, so they had to send repairmen to open up the door… very drama and so fan lah! If there’s any reason to NOT work on the weekends, well, that incident gave me more than 1 reason.

I was also nursing a lack-of-caffein headache, so once Justin arrived and we were all bundled into his car, I promptly fell asleep. Thought it was going to be an hour drive, but after 45 minutes of sleep, they told me that we still had another 45 minutes to go! Apparently they got lost and had been driving around aimlessly for a while. Hahaha. Only after Justin got lost did the GPS get switched on (earlier, Pauline thought it was going to be a straightforward journey, so didn’t need to switch on the GPS). The GPS somehow guided us into a kampong area at one point, where Justin nearly hit :

a. a calf

b. a sheep

c. a chicken

Pauline will say that I’m exaggerating, but as she was not in the passenger seat, she doesn’t know how drama it is ok!!

Ooh, and my friend WanAi just came back from Germany (thank you for the choccie) and she taught me some phrases in German. FYI, I’ve been stagnating in the Spanish department, but let me see what I remember :

~ “Ich Leech. Ich liebe chocolatier” (I’m Leech. I love chocolate)

~ “Hello. Weigeitz?” (Hello, how are you?)

~ “Gut. Danke.” (Good, thank you)

Hehehe. For Spanish, I learned:

~ “Que hace?” (What do you do?)

~ “Soy programmera. Trabaja en el banc” ( I’m programmer. Work in bank.)

~ “Pues…. un poco… ” (Well… a little)

That’s all!

Back to the main story, we finally reached the destination in one piece, and met up with SuiYu and See, who had arrived 2 hours before us. There, they dashed our hopes of having a makan-makan trip by telling us that they have already been around the area in Kiara Inn and there was nothing to eat except :

~ Mary Brown chicken

~ braised zhu zhap (Pig spare parts)

~ yau char kwai, ham chim peng, etc… which they had bought an entire bag of!

Well, we were slightly disappointed, but we were already there, so we have to make the best of what we have! After checking in to the very nice & neat room (the only complaint is about the toilet, but more on that later), we walked around the area. I was still nursing the now raging lack-of-caffein headache, and my last meal was at 11:30am (it was now 4:30pm)… thank God that there *was* a nice place to eat open despite SuiYu and See’s insistence. Settled for some chicken rice at Nasi Ayam Gemas which I thought was pretty good, although I do agree with Pauline when she said that they did not chop the chicken properly. Never mind, needed the food in my tummy, STAT!

After that, we walked to the nearby shopping mall (Upwell) which was really one of those small town malls which sell a lot of cute but nonsense type of stuff imported from China… which is right up our alley! XD I love looking at those kinda random stuff, and of all things, we bought a lot of ANGPOW packets… because they were pink and had cute rabbit designs on them… and only cost RM1 per pack of 6. :D Pauline bought 21 packets!!! I also bought a packet of glitter pens and shampoo! Seriously, can’t run away from my addiction to shower stuff. >_<

Okie, now about the toilet arrangement at Kiara Inn.. firstly, the door is one of those “sexy time” door where it is QUITE SEE-THROUGH. As we were sharing an apartment-style room with JUSTIN, the 3 of us girls were really quite “vomit blood” at the idea of bathing. Since gouging his eyes out is not an option, we had to hang a towel from INSIDE the bathroom to cover the opacity of the toilet door, and then we pulled a curtain across the door as well as double protection. Hahaha. :) And INSIDE the bathroom, the shower head was spoiled – cracked. So that the water would spray in all directions. And the drainage was also very funny… although the drain was near the shower, the water would swirl ALL around the bathroom before swirling into the drain. It was really odd! But anyway, small matter la. The bed & air-conditioning was good for me! The only one who had anything to complain was Justin because he slept on a single bed directly underneath the air-cond — which leaked! So Pauline said that it looked like Justin wet the bed in the middle of the night. Hahahhaa!!

The wedding itself was very very romantic… Trider & WanLi’s wedding photos were very beautiful (from Lasposa, if you’re interested). WanLi looked sooooooooooo cute in the Korean traditional garb! I wish I can show you some of their photos, but they didn’t post anything online. =) As for the proposal.. wow, the groom really pulled out all stops on this one. They went on a holiday together in Spain and Turkey… and in Turkey he took her on a hot air balloon ride. There, he proposed to her, and when they alighted, they celebrated with champagne. All pictures shown during the wedding was taken by their macho tour guide, who appeared in so many of the shots that See cheekily asked, “Hmm! Is that the 2nd boyfriend?” Wtf. -___-

It was really one of those fun and romantic weddings, so quite enjoyed ourselves. Most of the good pictures are in WanAi’s prosumer camera, so you just have to make do with random food pics from mine:

The next morning, there was indeed no big prawn and cendol for Justin — just had breakfast in a random coffeeshop nearby, then drove back to KL. I was surprised by the huge portions in Bahau… I can eat a “large” wantan mee in Subang with no problem, but I was struggling a little with this:

I’ll blog more about this really FUNNY incident, and also about the Christmas cell-ebration we had last year. Twas fun!

When There Are Flowers, There Are… July 27, 2009

Hello! What’s a blog for if not to write details about your personal life right? Was a bit shocked after got linked on Facebook by XXXX. Just in case you’re his friend who is still visiting this site… sorry to tell you that you won’t be getting a lot of BA /fitness related stuff here (if you expect that). I usually don’t write that much about my gym life here. :P Just to briefly tell how life has been since BA — I haven’t started team-teaching / shadow-ing. :P

After the torturous 2 day training, I went back to dancing and Body Combat with a vengeance! OMG, how much I’ve missed dancing and Body Combat! My instructors also miss seeing my siao face (perasan!), but most of them are so kind… they have heard about my training and have been congratulating me for being able to complete it. Even instructors who I have known since I was signed up with Fitness First congratulate me… in a way, they have seen me “grown” from being a newbie who was so intrigued by Group-X classes to … whatever I am now. Hahaha.

This doesn’t mean I have forsaken or forgotten about Body Attack… of course not! I just wanted to give myself a break. But then my friends all started team teaching / shadowing sooooooo quickly. I started to panic and I asked Hazrin what’s the rush. Got dateline ka? And he said most people who take more than 2 weeks to start team teaching usually wind up not doing anything in the end. Zomg! I quickly asked him if I could shadow him next week. Kekeke.

Meanwhile, I will start to train in the office gym again for technique correction (follow book and look at the mirror… no one else to “correct” me unless I call up ***** to train with him), and then do more cardio and weight training to increase strength and stamina. The other day, I was just randomly working out on the machines when suddenly this personal trainer started correcting me and all that. No doubt I appreciate his help, and he was very nice about it. He even said that he’ll give me free personal training session to help me. Haih… I don’t want to get sucked in to buying PT sessions again. -___-” Actually, I wish that I can train with my colleague who is really into this bodybuilding kinda stuff, but he goes to myFitness… so inconvenient to train. Besides I know he’s a “Lone Ranger” type at the gym. I will be a pest to him!

Anyway, I’m really worried about myself. I don’t think I can shadow / team teach for long cos if I do it next week, by August 12 I will be gone for holiday til end of August. When I come back, I will require at least another week to get my stamina back (pls do not ask me to be training during holiday. Even if I could train, it won’t be hardcore and my friend will kill me for dragging him on exercising spree). So it’ll be at LEAST 2nd week of September before I can continue again. T__T But I’m looking forward to shadow / TT because I am getting pumped up about BA again. Very pumped up! Want to share my energy with others!

This week, I couldn’t do shadow / TT or support my friends who are on stage (really want to support them… I’m sure they are nervous, and a friendly face is welcomed right!) because my friends and I had already planned a trip to Bukit Tinggi this weekend. So funny, whenever I tell my colleagues / friends that I’m going to Bukit Tinggi, they say, “Bukit Tinggi? Why? You going to Fitness First there?” -____-” Haiyoh, if I want to go to FF, why would I go to the one in Klang?! Super inconvenient right!

Anyway, it’s actually a holiday resort in Pahang (actually, just about 1.5 hours from Subang), high up in the hills. It’s developed by Berjaya Resorts and they make it a holiday destination by building a French-inspired resort up there (dubbed Colmar Tropicale) and a Japanese-inspired tea house and botanical gardens. I went there about 3 years back? I don’t remember much about it, but the place has barely changed since then. Last time, it was just a day trip, this time, my friend Iza got a free room in the Colmar Tropicale resorts so we spent the night there as well. Had fun with my gal pals – Fuzzy, Dull and Iza Pizza. Haven’t seen each other for sooooo long because each of us had our own things going on. At least we had ample time to talk and catch up with each other’s life this weekend. :)

Road tripppppppp!!!!! Dull was shouting at me to not stick any limbs out of the car!

Actually, I don’t have many pictures with me at the moment because … the camera ran out of battery halfway through. (Which made Dull smirk, “Now you regret taking those crap pictures earlier right?” Probably referring to pictures like the one above.) The ironic part was that I brought two cameras with me because I thought that I had half battery life left on each, so add that together and you get one whole right? But my Lumix actually had zero battery life left.. so that’s that. And Fuzzy’s camera also ran out of battery halfway through. Ditto for Iza. Hahahaha! But it was ok lah. We got a lot of funny pictures in Colmar Tropicale and there wasn’t much to see in the botanical gardens because there wasn’t much flowers in bloom. Actually, a lot of the plants looked like they were dead / dying of thirst. I was also spending a lot of my time running away from moths / butterflies. T___T The climb around the botanical gardens is actually pretty steep, but wasn’t as difficult as I remembered it to be. Dull kept saying that one could get a cardiac arrest there. Drama queen. ;) Fuzz and I enjoyed ourselves camwhoring every step of the way.

Finally arrived! Thanks to Dull for driving us all the way there and back!

Colmar Tropicale.

The drawbridge.

Walking around the resort… still cooling in the morning and with lots of lush greenery.

Swan pond. Two black swans and two white ones.

Swan shaking its ass at me. Got nicer pics in friend’s camera…

Me, Iza and Fuzzy… taking pictures with the flowers. Too bad the morning glories don’t look as glorious in the pic, sigh!

Wah, looks like I’m seducing Dull here. She was actually laughing at me… forgot why! She’s always laughing at me. Boo hoo hoo~

Breakfast here! The pastries are awesomeeeeeeee. Pricey to eat here though. Pricey, but not to the point of ridiculousness. More food pictures in next blog entries.

Wonder if I’ll ever get to take a picture of the real thing?

View from the tower… which is only a 3 flights-of-stairs climb. However, only Fuzz and I went up! Grrr…. elevator konked out that day, so Iza and Dull remain ground-bound.

Fazlynn, myself.

Which picture is nicer? One was candid and one wasn’t. No need to tell which is which since it’s so obvious, haha.

Fuzz thought I was about to commit suicide.

Lobby of the hotel… we stayed at the “Fuschia” block. The blocks are all named after flowers, from Azalea to Heliconia. :D Sounds so high school…

Our knight in shining armour… hands off him biotch!

Bonjour, mademoiselle!

Iza, Dull and Fuzz on the shuttle ride to the Japanese gardens. Seriously, this shuttle has amazing horse power, lol.

At the Japanese tea house. Practicing my ninjutsu, currently only an expert at sexy no jutsu. ;P

Fuzz and I with the mousetail plant.

Guess who I met there! So random! Yee Hou! But he went off to Genting after that… hahaha. Really a small world right? While driving up to Bukit Tinggi, Iza saw her cousin as well. Is this place where everyone goes to to “get away from it all”? :P

Didn’t really drink much that night because we were so tired from walking all around and for Dull, she had to work night shifts and didn’t sleep at all because she insisted on driving us up. We spent most of the time eating snacks and watching romantic comedies (courtesy of Iza and her portable DVD player… apparently she has 3 DVD players wtf). Watched Definitely, Maybe which had the uber handsome Ryan Reynolds and gorgeous Isla Fischer. Next was What Happens in Vegas which is actually SUPER idiotic (what would one expect from an Ashton Kutcher show, hmph). And just this morning, we watched Because I Said So, which is yet another romantic comedy starring Mandy Moore. T____T Sigh, what a weekend.

Okay, work starts tomorrow! Both computer programming work and gym work! Gotta pump it up!
