Yep, search the archives. Apparently I’ve been at this for 10 years. Even I can’t believe it. For one, I still lie to myself that I’m 21, so how could I possibly have been blogging since I’m 11? At 11, the only thing I used the PC for was to play Tetris on the Windows 3.11. My dad’s hope of nurturing future Bill Gates must’ve been severely dashed. But guess what? I think he should think we ARE geniuses anyway, because he still doesn’t know how to turn on the computer!
((Ok, maybe he DOES know how to turn on the computer, I’ve just never seen him do it. And if he can, could he install Tetris and get himself hooked onto it? Can he? Hmm? Hmmm???))
This is how I’ve changed through the years :
2001 – just started college. Ok, I put an unglam photo of myself as I am lazy to find any photos of me from so long ago. I don’t think I owned a digital camera. I just took my brother-in-law (then my sister’s bf) camera and made it my own!
Ah, typical Leech of 2001. I only wore Esprit t-shirts from the discount rack (RM25-RM30 per piece) and always carried the lime green Nike bag that I won from Tone magazine (now no more) like my firstborn. No eyeliner (heck – no make-up) and always had to walk everywhere because still had no car to drive. Can see the beginnings of eyebags already. Hahahhaa!
2002 – 2nd year college aka advance diploma year. I suppose the most significant thing I remembered about this year was that I joined the Writer’s Bloc (now defunct) camp thingy. We were all like, “Yo, we be better than Brats. We don’t pay no money to join a journalism workshop. We be chosen because we underwent stringent selection process!” Wah, young elitist forkers. 
Actually, I’m darn thankful for the camp because it made me realise that I better study harder in my current field (IT) because I had no backup plan WHATSOEVER in the writing world. HAHAHAA.. *sob*sob*
2003 – Final year in college, was very active with editorial board stuff. Made a few Friends For Life here, no regrets juggling programming, graphic design and friendx.com (wtf!) through my final years in college. Hahaha! About Friendx — I played around a lot on this website, which is a friend making website. Hey, don’t judge me, I made quite a few good friends. Erm.. of which 3 are still on my Facebook account! I actually thought it was like, a better version of ahmoi.com, but sadly it eventually degenerated into that. It was also a time when I was at my ultimate camwhore mode aka, I was able to produce pictures of myself that did not look like me. Geddit?
The below picture is named “infamous red” because this photo apparently so did not look like me that when my CLASSMATE saw my profile on friendx.com, he messaged me to ask me if he could get to know me. The next day in class, I was like wtf, was that message a joke? And he was like, what the heck are you talking about? And you could actually see the look of horror dawning on his face when he realised that he messaged (OMG!) me. What a slap in the face.
Oh, and while I was searching for photos, I came across a picture I had named “Makemetulanonly.jpg”. Obviously I had to click and open it. You see, this is what gals have to deal with on Friendster. Apparently if you have a Friendster account, that means you MUST “make friend” with whatever random guy messages you. You see, this kinda attitude also expect to make friends with girl. Go play with yourself far far away la, TAN. (Hahaha, not that I bore a grudge for so long, but since I had screencapped it, might as well show you all.)
To show you the discrepancy between what I take and what is reality, here are a few pictures that I took of myself :

2004 – Just started work! Technically, the first 6 months was completing my thesis and then going for job interviews. I never did tell you about my crap interview with a crap company right? So crap that halfway through the guy gave up convincing me that it’s a good job? Lol! And started smoking right in front of me?? Hahahhaa… wow, good times. ~_~” Started work in XYZ Bank in June 2004, and lasted til June 2011. I totally don’t even know anything about working life, though I had interned at my dad’s place before. Not the same, y’know?
Somehow, I became “famous” because I trailed my director’s car (apparently high-beamed him also) and because Raymond sent out an email to all the guys in the office (accidentally — we were fighting over the keyboard) asking, “Do you think Leech is pretty?” T___T
One of the first and most memorable things the company asked me to do was a cheerleading performance when they launched their Manchester United credit card. I don’t know what made them think that us nerds would make good cheerleaders, but … ok lah. Lol!
Just throwing this in here to make someone lol. In case you’re wondering why I’m wearing a t-shirt next to a well-dressed couple, it’s because after the event was over, I changed into another outfit to go mamak with friends. Hahahaha… can’t go to mamak in a gown, right?
I note that I don’t look as hideous as just a year before. I attribute it to honing said camwhore skills + having the spending power to buy MAKEUP. ^^By the way, I look back and think I look SLIM in these photos. Not thin, but SLIM right??? Yet people gave me so much flak about being fat. Look at me now!! I’m at least 10kg heavier than I was back then!! Lololol.
Ok kinda sleepy and lazy to continue this entry. Maybe if the nostalgic feeling strikes again later, I will dig out the photos from 2005-2010. Meanwhile, here is ultimo latest photos of me (vain)… but admit that it’s copping out cos it’s from my handphone and the resolution is crap so you can’t see how old hag I am now. Hahahaha… but I’m sure you can guesstimate la.
Pink & black striped crop top from H&M… but me belly is poking out, so have to wear another shirt underneath, lol. Didn’t realise it was a crop top! Thought it was just at the waist, but it turned out like so easy to expose the midriff. I shy.
Good lighting… anything that obscures 50% of my face is good lighting, right? Anyway, this shirt is my ultimate good buy at Citygates … 
Just last Saturday! With my bodycon dress from ASOS, but too shy to wear it as a dress (it is damn freaking unforgiving) so have to wear as a top instead.
OMG! I complained so much… I really need to kickstart my fitness regime again!!!
