Completely Random Bits Of My Life

Gals Day Out April 18, 2012

Lots of pictures to post from meet-ups many, many, many weeks ago. Would you believe me if I said I have stuff to do every weekend? I’m seriously busy every weekend – sure have chores to do or people to meet up with. If you told secondary school Leech that it would be this way, she wouldn’t believe ya. Weekends are for more gymming and snuggling in bed with a good book! I used to be able to read a few books a month, but it’s already April and I think I only read 2-3 books. :\ Plus, last time I used to be the one buying all the books in my house, but now it’s *jeng jeng jeng* my brother! I cannot believe that he actually reads wtf. :P The problem with reading books that my brother buys are that he only buys cheap books. Like stuff from the bargain bin – so you’re definitely not reading any award winners. Still, it’s something to flip thru when you’re on the porcelain throne I guess. :P

I’ll blog about the books that I read in another entry, because it’s seriously wtf + lol. Meanwhile, pics of meet-ups with my gal pals from earlier this month! (Or was it late last month? Gee, how time flies.)

Went to SUGIMOTO with Dull, Fuzz and Pauline recently. I know, such a random mix of gals right? The similarity? All my good friends who are dependable + I can work with. Hahahaha.

Had this roll to start, but I forgot the name!

Another roll to share! Spider roll.

Dull and Fuzz… (Dull was not happy that I brought my camera)

Sweet Pauline.

Fuzz’s unagi (eel) set

Pauline’s sashimi set… it came with a set of udon as well. I know, Sugimoto portions are ridiculously filling!

My tempura set, full of lovely fried seafood… damn damn good….

Dull took some chicken rice bowl set… I feel bad cos she doesn’t really like Japanese food as much as the rest of us!

Tucking in

Awww, Dull looks so fab here!

Pauline and I. :)

Pauline and I back in 1950s

Another great photo of Fuzz and Dull

After that, we went to Kamdar to pick out some cloth… don’t mind us. We are just checking out color combinations, haha.

Fuzz has a very critical eye. Same for Dull! They can see shades that I cannot differentiate

I was wondering why Kamdar also sells weapons (spears), and Dull said it’s OBVIOUSLY curtain rods. Wtf, do you think it’s “OBVIOUSLY” curtain rods? I think not!

Met up with Kim for our annual gift exchange… just that we are so late this year that her birthday is in about 5 months time, lol. Well, she has been busy and it’s quite exciting to hear her talk about going for dance classes and “social dancing”. I didn’t even know there’s such a social dancing scene in KL. The only dancing scene I know of is feng tau like on ecstacy in clubs. Anyway, we went to Papa Johns because Tron gave me all his BCARD vouchers that he got from Chatime. Among the stack of vouchers said to be worth RM1.3k is countless Papa Johns vouchers. -__-” In the end, the waitress also keyed in the coupon wrongly and we got a better deal – buy 1 free 1 instead of a 2 pizzas for RM40 or whatever.

It was fun meeting up! We talked and talked until Pyramid closed down and we had to leave Papa Johns through the backdoor, hahahaa.

The “must have” cheese sticks with tomato sauce & butter garlic sauce. It’s not really a must have, but the butter garlic sauce is damn evil sinful delicious sinful crap!! It’s like oil! But oil that you want to drink, hahha.

The Mexican pizza, which is rather spicy. The jalapenos will have your mouth on fire. Quite deceptive since the pizza looks so mild.

The Papa John’s must have.. forgot the name. :P

And this is Kim! Ching, can match your friend with her ah, hahah… *wink wink nudge nudge*

Two of us.. forgive my tired look, I really am tired from work (nearly 3 weeks no time to go gym) and I felt myself ballooning up + losing my hair. I need a new look! Anyway, Kim looks nice here… maybe I should take up this social dancing thing too.. :P

The Best Groupon Buddy June 25, 2011

I have ceased buying a LOT of those group purchasing deals — mainly because I have too many at the moment that I’ve still not used… and also because I’ve come to realise that just because the food looks really good doesn’t mean I *must* buy the darn thing. I made the “mistake” last time and turns out the restaurants are not that conveniently located after all. You might be thinking, “Leech, have you not heard of Google maps?” The problem with me is that if the area sounds familiar, I’m already clicking for the payment methods… then I find out that the place is in a dodgy area, or it’s really far flung…

Like in the case of my latest used Groupon – Joseph @ Kitchen in Menara UOA Bangsar. I mean, it’s BANGSAR. It’s next to an LRT station! That should be like, so totally convenient right? Yeah… if I took public transport. After too many horrendous incidents at the LRT / KTM, I now firmly believe in driving. The darn coupon was expiring on Thursday, and just because I’m darn free on weekdays, doesn’t mean my friends are. Thankfully, Dull (hereby known as The Best Groupon Buddy ever, cos she is up for adventuring to far-flung places with me) was free, and she guided me to Menara UOA. Hahaha! If you asked me to drive there by myself, I would’ve taken some really jammed up roads… *mwah* to Dull…

The place is actually super convenient for those people taking LRT, but it’s really affordable also. I think it should have no problem getting business, right? By the way, this is the deal that I bought  (Yes, from MyDeal, so actually not “Groupon” but somehow became easier to say Groupon than “group purchased coupon”… anyway since Groupon started it all, let them keep the term?).

Anyway, we had to use the NPE to avoid all jams going into Bangsar, and it was still so jammed. *sweat* Cost us RM3.20 just to get there… and it was so hard to find parking in the VISITOR’S PARKING in Menara UOA. We arrived at about 4:10pm. I thought it was an odd time, thought it was going to be pretty empty. Lol! Obviously words from someone who doesn’t know what is going on.

This was what we had :

Quite a nice and cosy place. I think got free wi-fi also, cos got a few people with laptops surfing internet there…

Taken when Dull just said “Eh don’t take my photo”.

My watermelon fruit juice and Dull’s ice lemon tea. Really free flow, and at least when you call the waiter to refill, he does it straight away — unlike Chili’s. Yes, I’m still boh song… hehehe. Anyway, the meal was so filling that we only refilled once.

My appetizer – The Italy Ball platter! Despite the funny name, it is AWESOME. I don’t really know what I was eating, but we reckon the “plain” ball is just fried beef balls and the one with the swirly thingy is chicken meatballs with some potato swirls around it. It is darn darn nice. If you want to try their appetizers, you must pick this one, ok?

Dull chose fried chicken wings for her starter, and it actually came midway through our meal, haha. Anyway, it tasted good! Each of us got 2 pcs of chicken to eat… They added some herbs into the batter to fry the chicken… don’t know what herbs they are (I could only identify rosemary) but it made the chicken so finger-licking-good. Like, better than KFC!

Dull’s chicken mushroom rice set.

And my chicken chop set. Yeah, the mains are nothing super duper unique that you can’t get elsewhere, but it is yummy and the portions are decent. I guess for the price we paid, can’t complain la.

Dull’s creme brulee dessert. It is titchy! I didn’t quite like it, but Dull polished the whole thing off, so I guess it’s right up her alley.

My “Overjoyed” which is passionfruit & strawberry puree under vanilla ice-cream and then covered with lots of sinful whipped cream.

Something I thought was funny – the I Don’t Know fruit juice!

Oh, and I just have to state that we were given a different menu from what was displayed online. For desserts we didn’t have tiramisu, coconut sorbet, pina colada sorbet, mango orange sorbet, or mini pudding. Just sayin’.

The most char dou part for me was seeing this notice outside the restaurant :

I paid RM19.90 for this deal, and practically could get a BETTER deal without Mydeal! I dunno about you, but for RM5 LESS, I get the same thing (generally) but maybe less choices la (I dunno… could be the same… *sob*). I felt quite pissed off, but Dull kept assuring me that SURELY there is less choices, like for desserts they obviously don’t get to try Overjoyed nor could they drink watermelon juice like me… hahaha. Anyway, the restaurant is still worth eating at … if you happen to use the Bangsar LRT quite often…

Nursing The Heartbroken With Vodka June 13, 2011

Last weekend was really interesting. Well, I’ve not been using group purchased coupons for a really long time for a reason — I’ve no time to! In fact, one of my coupons expired and there was nothing I could do about it as no one was going to the area and it was too far for me to drop by, just for an RM5 coupon. Sigh… it was a really good deal though – RM1 for a cupcake from Bisou. I bought 5 coupons! =p Luckily I didn’t buy more, otherwise the loss would’ve been bigger too.

I wrote about this on my “other blog”, so I’ll just link here. The summary of it is just that on Friday, I had to go for cell group meeting, so I gave my parents the two tickets to Magical Musicals that I won from AMBP. You can read about what happens next, but generally they had a good time, and so did I. Why was the cell group important enough for me to “give away” my tickets? Cos it’s my first cell group session since joining RLC, so I didn’t want to miss it! Plus, it turned out to be an awesome sharing session and I ended up so motivated, energised and inspired by my cell group leader. Lots of positivity and confidence-boosting. I am so glad that I did not miss it. =) Sadly, the next cell group will be weeks and weeks away.

Meanwhile, though I’m dying at work, I’m looking to fit in the following in the next 2 weeks :
a. gymming marathons and lots of swimming in the future! I want to lose 4kg and regain my stamina in leaps and bounds! (I nearly died during Body Combat today… they were doing the new release and there were sooooo many lower body movements! Usually I’ll ace it but.. heck! It was murder on the gym floor, baby! Will blog more about it in another entry!)

b. shopping for new clothes. A lot of my “work wear” is in fact very kiddish.

c. shopping for new shoes. I was thinking of foregoing heels forever, but then I decided that what I should be looking out for are comfortable heels, which a certain brand promises to deliver. Will see about that!

d. cooking! I haven’t been cooking and baking since early this year and that’s about to change!

e. spring cleaning – I plan to sell some of my stuff on Lowyat, but before I do that, I need to actually FIND the stuff I plan to sell. Hahaha!

f. going for a holiday in Singapore! I’m praying so hard for this to materialise!

Ah… those are but some idyllic fancies. ;)

After the awesome sharing session on Friday, Tron told me he wanted to sleep in, so I joyfully took to the bed too… only to have him call me up at 10:30am asking me why I wasn’t awake yet. -___-” He is truly a morning eagle while I am a night owl. I had no idea that “sleeping in” was only until 10am. If someone gave me the choice to “sleep in”, expect me up only at lunchtime. Our Saturday was truly lazy – Burger King (why is my Mushroom Swiss so tiny?) and then I was lured by promises of movies to watch, but ended up playing Playstation games with him. -____-”

Fighting games nowadays are so complicated… Last time you only had one fighter in your arsenal and it was a dual to death. Now you have 3 fighters in your arsenal and you have to keep switching between the fighters… so complicated. And of course I didn’t know how to switch la! So unfair… the bullier didn’t teach me until the second round.

Honestly, I don’t even know WHAT game I was playing… just some Street Fighter-style game.

At night, I accompanied my friend Dull who wanted to have heart-to-heart chats. Was expecting pizza, alcohol, DVDs and tears, but wound up having no tears and no opportunity for tears to arise either. The pizza was there, but we had to collect it ourselves from the traffic-jam-hell-hole of SS12. The waiting line was so long that I ended up eating some maggi goreng at Taj while waiting for the pizza.

As for DVDs, we were actually watching online streamed movies… and Dull’s computer speakers were f@cked, so we were straining to hear the dialogue. We watched bits of Saw VI (disgusting, I kept my eyes closed most of the time), bits of Scott Pilgrim vs The World (nice graphics, but I didn’t find it THAT funny), bits of Beastly (Dull said that Alex Pettyfer did not become a beast, but still damn hot and handsome and she still wants him WTF. But I agree he is not a BEAST la, he’s just heavily tattooed and pierced. And Mary-Kate Olsen is NOT scary at all in the movie and he did NOT humiliate her enough. It’s sooooooo mild la.. it’s all so mild!) and the whole of 18 year-old Virgin, only because it’s the one that streamed the fastest.

18 Year Old Virgin is actually soft porn IMHO… so much nudity and the first 5 minutes starts with sexual fantasies and masturbation. O_O I really did think we were watching porn at first! Anyway, the movie is about a girl who wants to lose her virginity at a graduation night party for the seniors at high school. The movie is NOT a parody of 40 Year Old Virgin starring Steve Carell.

In case you’re wondering why she wants to lose her virginity and why she would have trouble doing so, it’s because she believes that this one guy called Ryan Lambert is her dream guy (you’ll find out why she thinks so), and when she offered herself to him, he said that he won’t sleep with virgins because they are emotionally messy. Hahaha! Anyway, so she planned to lose it quickly, and then sleep with Ryan and have him fall in love with her foreverly forever.

It’s damn dumb la, and a lot of dumb things happen, but since we were also “brain numbed” by Absolut Peach and Sprite, we somehow made it thru the show, amidst shouts of “Oh crap, she is so damn dumb!” and “Can she stop being so darn desperate ar!!”

Thought of sleeping over, but I drove back at 2:30am because have church the next day. ^^ Tron now prefers going for the 1st service, so we have to leave Subang quiteeee early. I’m not an early eagle and I think this is why I have trouble waking up on the weekends. Last time, the weekends were for me to catch up on sleep debt!

We didn’t do much on Sunday because we had a wedding to attend at night, so we wanted to nap in the afternoon instead. Hahahaha. The wedding was held at Hyatt Saujana Subang (where my sister had her wedding), and it was the wedding of Tron’s close friend’s brother. Needless to say that I did not know the bride or the groom. But I was very blessed to be able to attend because it was SUCH a grand occassion!

The whole wedding had a cute theme revolving around how the couple travelled together a LOT during their 7 years relationship. Their wedding favors were postcards of countries they have visited, and upon registering, each guest were given a “boarding pass” telling them which table they would be seated.

I was quite sulky when Tron insisted on picking me up so early because I had justttt gotten ready, and usually I like to snack before the wedding because knowing how chinese weddings are — they AREN’T going to start on time. You’re gonna be lucky if it’s only an hour late. Tron said it was tough luck that I didn’t wake up earlier to snack (hmph!) and went on our merry way.

THANKFULLY the wedding had an awesome reception. I remember that Saujana provided the sengkuang / carrot / cucumber / celery sticks and dip for my sister’s reception, but this one had so many other awesome stuff. Potato chips, peanuts, hors d’ouvre. chocolate & butter cake covered by fondant (the chocolate cake is absolute sinful) and lots of drinks, from beer & wine to fruit juices or soft drinks. There was also a string quartet playing… in fact, I was quite reluctant for the wedding to start because I was having so much fun at the reception. =p

The wedding itself, was of course, much grander. We were all bleeding with envy though, because apparently each table was named after a country that the couple had visited. Does that mean they had travelled to 30+ countries? Other than the food, we were also entertained by a live band (Rocaro), the couple performing their “first dance” together (and later, some of the older couples also took to the dancefloor gracefully) and there was even a bian mian performance and Michael Jackson impersonator! This was starting to look like my Tan Sri’s own birthday dinner! It was that grand!

Also had a lot of fun because the people seated at our table were crazy and kept cracking odd jokes. Hahaha. The kind of guests whom if you are the groom, you don’t know whether to be happy that they are there breaking the ice, or to have them hauled out of the ballroom for disturbing the solemnity of the occasion. ;) Still, had fun and glad to meet those people that night. I pity the grandma and the maid sitting with us though… the grandma must’ve been itching to ask the guys to shaddap. =p

This apparently random picture is of Sri (Tron’s friend) who is one of the best man (I think) walking in with the bridesmaid. Then Francis said that the girl looks damn unhappy to be with Sri… wonder what he did to her? Hahahaha… :P

This is the lovely bride & groom… congratulations and may your marriage will be as wonderful as the wedding itself. :)

Their first dance…

I Didn’t Get My Day Of Rest… *RAGEEEE* May 23, 2011

Weekend was good and bad at the same time. All because at the 11th hour, as usual, just before want to implement something, THEN and only THEN will the user start doing their testing seriously. WTF! The thing is, they have the utmost dedication to come back on the weekend to do testing, so who am I as a mere, lowly, sr systems analyst deny them the support that they require?
-___- This doesn’t mean I have to be happy about doing it. Internally, I’m crushed… but guess what? I’m not the only one who has to work during the weekend. So did Tron! Lol..

Oh, and before the weekend started, I was pleasantly surprised by my maternal grandmother who came to stay over at our house. I was watching Shane Dawson TV as usual… and suddenly I heard a knock on my bedroom door. Po po said… “Hi Leech~~ I’m your room mate for the night!” I was horrified because my bedroom is in a mess! Lol! A lot of laundry scattered on my bed (not yet put into the wardrobe. When she saw the mess, she said, “I can sleep on the floor, don’t worry.” WTF! As if I would let my grandma do it. I rather sleep on the floor myself than let her sleep on the floor! After an impromptu cleaning session, she was comfortably curled up on the bed, so I also had to sleep early. However, we had fun chatting for one hour, just lying on the bed. Aww.. I miss my room mate already (she only stayed for one night)…

We somehow end up talking about pregnancy and the “confinement” period. She said that for her first child, she went back to her mom for the confinement period. For the second child, my grandfather’s sister came to the house to take care of her. And for the last child, she had no one to look after her, so after giving birth to my Uncle CF, she was back on her feet cooking and cleaning again. I feel so impressed! I think that women back in the day are so super strong. Or have we gotten soft? Cos nowadays we fight from 2 months maternity leave til we get 3 months maternity leave, and not possible to say that our job is TOUGHER now. My grandmother said she was considered lucky cos she worked from home last time (tailor), but there were women she knew who had to go back out to mine for tin. So sad, isn’t it?

She also said that she was full of regret that there wasn’t such thing as birth control. She said almost right after she got married, she got pregnant right away. No time to relax… said she should be like some who got to honeymoon for 2 years. Lol, I have totally different idea from my grandma. I prefer to get preggers right away if I get married. Cos I reckon the whole dating part is the honeymoon already la.. =p Unless of course my husband can’t afford to take care of a kid, then I prefer we make our lives more stable first…

After giving birth to my mom (fyi, my grandma did say that though she prefer to give birth later, she don’t harbor resentment on it as “every baby is a gift from God), she almost right away got pregnant with my uncle, and she still saying drat it, why no birth control methods. Lol. She’s actually very scared to give birth.. but the second time was easier. This time, since she had one son and one daughter already, she reckon that it’s good enough. But wound up pregnant one more time… hahaha. She said after my 2nd uncle, she finally went to the clinic and got the rubbers.

Ok, here’s a gross sounding part. If you cannot tahan, pls don’t highlight and read:
My grandma said, last time they don’t sew back your vajayjay after giving birth, so she said it’s “spoiled” already. She said thank God she stop at 3rd kid, otherwise it will become “destroyed”. ~_~”

On Friday night, I met up with my brother-in-law, my sister and Tron at Subang Avenue’s Skewerz for my Groupon deal. Pay RM50 for an RM100 voucher. The food there is good and affordably priced, and the service is fast and good, but the prices of the drinks are expensive, considering there is no unlimited refills. T_T No wonder the voucher specifically said the voucher can pay for food, but not for drinks. Cos after the whole meal was over, I had to pay additional RM60+ for the drinks and part of the food. (So all together it was RM110+ for 4 people… I think that is quite affordable. Without the voucher, it would be RM160 for 4 people.)

This was what we had :

Fried chicken with preserved beancurd coating… very yummy, though my sister said the taste of the preserved beancurd isn’t strong. BIL said it should be served PIPING HOT but I preferred it as “hot but at edible levels”. Hahaha!

Both BIL and myself had the Ultimate Glutton Burger. Check it out! I ate so slowly, was the last to finish. It’s very nice and worth your money (RM26), but the meat is a bit raw. It’s medium done, should be medium-well at least.

My sister had the minty lamb skewers, which was initially what Tron wanted. But he decided to get …

Mini stuff burgers instead which were very yummy sausages.. don’t know what they put or how they cook to make normal sausages so tasty!

My bro-in-law was also teaching me some stuff about banking & about his company… my mind is blown away. Hahahha. I need to learn more from him and Tron… both of them are so knowledgable. Sometimes feel like there’s so so so much in the world that I don’t know. Sigh…

BIL and my sister.

The place… got more packed as it got later.

Oh yeah, Subang Avenue is also a pretty dead place… with so many restaurants, a gym (Body Xpress is here) and a rollerskating derby, you’d think there’s a lot of patrons. It isn’t! Actually, Skewerz had a lot of customers, which made my sister wonder why they need a Groupon deal to get business since they look like they are already doing so well. In fact, Tron did tell me before that he heard this place was good, and wanted to bring me there. But end up I’m the one that brought him there. =p

I was expecting calls on any issues the user having on Friday night, so I would know how to plan out my Saturday (whether need to go to work or not). But the users truly trolled me. When they make you think that all is well already, and you are on the way out, then only they call you. All the way from Subang til I reached Hartamas, talking to me and asking me questions that already have been / should have been resolved earlier. But anyway, after that the damage is done already because the mood already spoiled.

Cheered up after only because of 2 things:
1. ate at Sukico Hainan Restaurant where “everything tastes good” (according to Tron). I like it because the aunty working at the shop is really funny and friendly. This Tron loved the food so much that he started to “interview” her about Hainanese food in general. Wound up with her telling me that if I have kids in the future, I should stop working and look after the kids instead. “It’s not worth it, you know. If you’re earning just 1000, 2000 or even 3000… what is money? Better to stay at home and look after the kids instead. Your kids will turn out better and have so much money for what? Just live within your means. My daughter is doing that right now.”

I was giving Tron THE look. The “Can you earn enough to support me and all my future children if I stop working” look. Then the aunty turned to me and asked me, “Don’t mind me asking miss.. but are you working in administration? Earning just RM2k-RM3k?”
I replied, “Er… no… I’m working in the banking line.” (kinda false.. more like IT line.)
Aunty replied, “Oh, in that case you better continue working. You won’t be earning just 1 or 2k. Hmm.. why don’t you let me look after your children instead? I might be starting my own babysitting business!”
-_____-

Hainan Coffee at Sukico.

Tron loved the kaya butter bun and ate two of these!! So piggish!

Seems like it is mostly the older generation that likes this cafe…

His sour & sweet chicken, which is basically “ku lou yuk” with rice.

I forgot to take a picture of my humongous plate of Hainanese fried rice, so here’s another picture of Tron eating his bun…

Item number (2) is… Tron and I visited Raymond and his wife Alice.. .and their baby W. =) Had been wanting to not only see Raymond’s offspring, but also to visit their new condo in KL. Raymond created history in PB by buying “such an expensive” place (shortly after that, he was cut by another guy who took a loan for PART of a million ringgit house) for his job level. Haha. So of course the place had to be somewhat swanky. The condo was very big… and tastefully decorated in shades of white and beige, and a lot of glass. He was lucky to get a fully furnished condo, so he didn’t have to think too much on ID.

As for the baby, according to the parents, she was a little bit cranky, so she didn’t have time to entertain me. =p Stared at us blurly like WTF are these aunty and uncle waving at me for? Aiyooo and I always talk about products giving you “baby soft skin” and it’s such a lie when you ACTUALLY touch a baby. Soooo cute. Cannot stop stroking the smooth chubby cheeks! ^_^

Also really happy because Tron, Raymond, Alice and myself can chit-chat for so long… not awkward to hang out together. I thought we were going to be there for 1-2 hours (and a bit angry at Raymond because he was supposed to bring us to Saba restaurant.. but who eats dinner at like, 5pm?), but we wound up talking til about 8pm. So Raymond got to treat us to Saba as well. Sadly for me, I had the Mandi Chicken which not as nice as the Hanith lamb I had last time. If you go there, and you prefer your meat to be juicy… choose the Hanith-style… the Mandi-style meat is still tender, but a little on the dry side.

Mandi Chicken…. HALF!! HAhahaa. But got so much rice … at least enough for 3 people. Craziness!!

No more Barbican… they have this brand called Hillburg instead…

Still… living in KL is not for me, man…. totally lost getting there. Had to use GPS… and my parents LOL at me when I told them I needed GPS to get to that part of KL. -___- And LOL even harder when I told them I took DUKE highway and had to pass 3 tolls. They said they know a way that don’t need toll, no jam and fast to boot. -___-

Okie… 1pm and I’m still at the office but at least no heart-attack levels of errors found. Very pilu now.. didn’t go to church. So been blasting gospel music alone here. :P

* * * * * * * * * *

Came home and had a very short nap before I met up with my galpals Fuzz and Dull to use a Groupon – RM17.10 for 2 pizzas and 2 soft drinks at Mediteranean & English Delicante at SS 15. We ordered extra stuff til the bill came up to an additional RM21… so altogether less than RM40 for all the food you will be seeing below. Good stuff! Really, really good service too and the food gets a thumbs up as well. The main drawback about eating there is that the parking is HORRIBLE! I actually wanted to use this Groupon with Tron, but we were so fed up driving around the area (it’s opposite Taylors College) and we weren’t sure where it is. In fact, the downstairs restaurant has been converted to another restaurant, and M.E.D is on the 1st floor, but actually whether you want to dine at M.E.D or the new Indian restaurant, you can sit anywhere as the restaurants both owned by the same person. At least, that’s what Fuzz told me! Confusing… no wonder we couldn’t find it as we drove past. In case you are wondering where is it, it’s very near Subway, 7-11, etc.

Anyway, had a wonderful time catching up with my 2 buddies… especially with Fuzz — you don’t see her for 1 week and helluva lots will have happened. I’m so happy for my new friend with her new awesome job. I think she’s gonna kick ass in it!! :) Congrats!

Our drinks…

My friends…

I forgot what this is called… tzatiki or something like that. It’s pita bread (toasted with herbs and olive oil) to be dipped with some yogurt dressing. It was weird at first, but then Dull discovered that if you add chilli sauce + the sauce, then it becomes AWESOME….

Ordered a half-pounder beef burger. This really tasted good…. Only RM10 +! Better than McDs, hehe.

The personal pizza… which is about the size of Pizza Hut’s regular pizza! Normal price is RM15. We had super supreme and chicken… both taste the same with the generous amounts of cheese all over. That’s why only 1 pic of pizza… both look the same on camera. Haha. Anyway, it’s really worth your $$.

Free vanilla pudding dessert… but I couldn’t eat anymore, plus I don’t like vanilla pudding. Dull and Fuzz liked it, but couldn’t finish also.

Ta pow in the end because cannot eat finish! Sigh..~ we thought the pizzas would be titchy!

At first I told them that if not enough to eat at M.E.D, we could go to Fruitland for desserts, as I have another group purchased deal there. All of us agreed that we were too full to go to Fruitland… but I did get “dessert” in the end, because Fuzz gave me a voucher for a free frappucino from Starbucks!! I got myself mango passion fruit juice because didn’t want to end up with a caffein buzz…

So…. that’s all for the weekend update…

[[So much to say that I can't say...]]
