Damn 9 tired nowadays, don’t even know why. Took Simon’s bro & mom out to Jogoya on Saturday… damn stressed! Didn’t know the way from Cheras to KL, so I left navigation to a guy who has not been in Malaysia for more than 10 years. -___- Oh, an I accidentally caused my car engine to die (nothing BIG, I just took my foot off the clutch when the car was in 1st gear… yes I drive a manual) and Ivan gave me this freaking horrified expression. HAHAHA! Actually, it’s damn funny when I think back on it. So many weird random scary stuff happened. Like this mothafcukin cab which squeezed through a narrow spot and thus rammed my side mirror with his. MUTHAFUCKER! *plots revenge*
Erm… what to blog about Jogoya la, the place is slowly deteriorating and for RM78 per person, it’s getting more and more not worth the money you pay. When we were there, they closed a few of the counters, didn’t have the huge scallops, and the VIP dishes are getting more grotesque. Even my favorite mochi dessert doesn’t taste good anymore. *sad* Stupid Jogoya. One obligatory photo of the guests:
Decided to continue with the travel log, otherwise I will be blogging about Christmas 07 in June 08. Tragic! But not right away…
Here’s something shorter that I can blog about – a trip to the Premium Outlet store in Gilroy for the Boxing Day sales. You can see a full list of the stores here. Basically, it’s a place where they sell designer stuff at factory outlet prices. Which hot-blooded female wouldn’t get excited at that thought huh.
Simon only agreed to drive down here ONCE, so I suppose I can thank him for still having money inside my bank account. Soooo much cheap stuff there, even for items that are still in season. E.g: I bought a beige velour hoodie for $13 at the mall, but it was selling for $7 at the outlet mall. Fcuking annoying.

I had some kind of berry & banana smoothie while Simon had a cherry lemonade.

Simon with his steak, onion rings and mashed potatoes. I don’t understand how people think that that is a normal-sized portion. @_@

My minestrone soup with a side of chicken mac & cheese. =)
You get the drift.

I forgot what these fries are called… animal ranch ? Something like that, please don’t laugh at me. =p

Candy from Jelly Belly. I had a horrible tasting baked bean flavour jellybean. Sometimes the manufacturer can get TOO creative with the flavours la! After the baked bean one, they had free garlic jellybean samples. WHO DARES TO TRY THAT LA!!

There’s one pound of “safe” tasting jellybeans right there. Approximately 3/4s of it now rests in Raymond’s stomach. Pig.

Gummies, chewing gums and “etcs”.

Stuff from Puma! Actually there’s a lot more tees there that are quite cheap aka less than USD10. But I was trying to exercise some self-control..

Best buy ever! Ralph Lauren Cool perfume set for USD20! Ivan, his mom and I were just talking about perfumes yesterday.
In US, they treat perfumes like NOTHING… they sell it EVERYWHERE.. in the supermarkets, at the pharmacy, at the OUTLET MALLS… and they are quite cheap! Like USD30 – USD40 for whole coffrets. Those cheapie non-designer perfumes like those which are celebrity endorsed or from a fashion line (got Hollister / A&E / Aeropostale perfumes also! -___-) are even cheaper. Less than USD20 per bottle!
In Malaysia, they treat perfumes like they are liquid gold! Only sold in the departmental store counters. Ptui!

Another pretty good deal! And this was from the same store I got the Ralph Lauren stuff. 3 items for USD10! So I got two Lancome Juicy Gelees and 1 Shu Uemera fake eyelash set.
When we were at the counter, there was this Vietnamese woman ahead of us who had a basket filled with these 3 for 10 items. Well, the lady at the counter told her that it has to be three of the SAME ITEMS, so that lady had to go through her basket and find identical items… I was quite disappointed! I had looked long and hard and whittled my selection down to these 3 items!
But guess what?! She allowed me to buy it without giving me the “THREE OF THE SAME ITEMS!” lecture. What happened was… when I was looking around the shop, Simon went and talked to the lady and was friendly with her and what not. So she was quite “kam cheng” with him. WTF. Hahahha!
Anyway, according to Simon, the lady was already quite pissed with the Vietnamese woman and her friends cos they were prying open all the boxes of lipsticks & eyeshadows and what not… when they clearly had signs saying not to do so AND they had testers opened to show the contents. Sigh… uncivilised…

Some tees from “Most” which is a label by Levis… Cheap stuff, all about USD5 – USD7.

Also from “Most”… these are for male friends. =p

From Charlotte Russe. That dress is USD2.99. =D

This one’s about USD10+… not too exp considering how much more inflated the price is here.

From Bed, Bath & Bodyworks, Ivan’s favourite store. Everything on the top row is for Simon’s mom. Everything on the bottom row is mine, and with the exception of the 2 bottles of bubble bath, the rest are all HAND CREAM! Cos the people at the office have a fetish with hand creams, so I thought this would excite them.
Actually, they all got quite scared off by the “blackcurrant & vanilla” smelling one. But so far, approving nods for the Eucalyptus Spearmint!

Will & Grace sets (Simon’s property), High School Musical 2 (which I left in Simon’s house and am very sad about it) and Dave Matthews & Tim Reynold’s Live At Radio City.
