Completely Random Bits Of My Life

Hello 2011 December 31, 2010

It’s actually 2 hours more before baby 2011 greets us all, and we drag 2010 kicking and screaming away. There’s not much that I actually did in 2010 that warrants a “year round-up” that a lot of bloggers are doing. Heck, when reading other people’s “year round-ups”, I feel like I accomplished nothing! Yet, this year is an unforgettable one as this is the year that I met Tron, and how we met was so Serendipity-like that it still makes me go all gooey inside when I think about it. It’s also the year that I “suddenly” became a Christian, which to me is actually not a surprise as I’ve thought about it often, just that I never had the guts to make the leap. (Guts as in, to tell my parents, siblings, etc). As mentioned countless of times so far, I’m definitely loving it. :)

So how did you celebrate the last day of the year? In Malaysia, in commemaration of the Malaysian football team winning the AFF Suzuki cup, it was declared a national holiday here. This caused a lot of banks (I work in a Financial Instituition myself) to go nuts as the closing of all accounting books had to be done a day earlier. To me, I was actually secretly happy as I was supposed to be on leave on the 30th, but because I was involved in a year-end General Ledger-related program, I had to oversee it til its completion. Went in late to work on the 30th (10:15am), but stayed on til 7:30pm! After things related to my program had been settled (it was actually settled on the 29th), there was another issue, whereby there was a 5 cent outage that the accountant could not trace. Based on finance-side people in Malaysia, apparently small outages like 5 cents are “overlook-able”, but not to this particular boss. I was tracing and tracing where the outage came from for the better part of the day. I tell you, I try and try to run away from accounts but I keep getting dragged back in. Everyone thinks I have the un-destroyable “accounting” gene. My dad is a tax consultant, my mom took ACCA last time (but became a teacher), my sister is an accountant, and my brother is doing ACCA now. I’m only the odd feller who decided to go into the IT line, but seems like even then I have to do accounts. Sigh!

Anyway, I digressed. I reckoned that our PM heard that I had to cancel my leave on the 30th for the sake of the project, therefore he announced the 31st a holiday so that I could relax after all. Seriously, I was so dead from all the late nights catching up on the project, and even today, I was still on standby and getting calls related to year-end closings. Tron did not like it when I had to answer calls during lunchtime, but what can I do, right?

Ya ya, can see the toilet in the background… hahah! So I cropped it out!

Today was a shopping day for Tron and myself as we got ready new stuff for work. He bought shirts from CK. I bought shoes from C&K (Charles & Keith, and yes, I feel very poor whenever I shop with him). I also managed to get a new work bag fromy myself from …. Vincci! Undoubtedly, it is one of those “inspired” by Balenciaga bags, but heck, it was the only work bag that looked attractive to me. Plus, got additional 10% discount because I’m a HSBC card holder.

Oh yeah, talking about that… today I got a replacement credit card from HSBC, and I thought that it was soooo weird. At first I thought that there was a worldwide problem with their credit cards, technology-change or something. So they had to send replacement cards to all. Then Tron scared me by saying it must be some kinda fraud case, someone reported that my card was stolen, etc etc. After a holding-my-breath call to the helpline, hehehe… turns out my current card is going to expire already. (In January 2011 to be exact). What I find funny is that they sent the card directly thru my house, NOT thru secured post or anything. What if someone else got it, and activated it and spent like crazy? Then how!! My other card which had to be renewed (from the bank I work in) called me up to say that the replacement card had to be collected from my home branch, and then made me sign some book to verify that I collected it already too. I think that’s better right? Not that I’m being bias or anything la. Plus, in the latter case, the card came one month early, not 1 day early. Cis! Seems like local bank also better than “world local bank”. ;P

Here are the foodie pics of the day:

Oops! This is actually from the 30th. My boss treated us a year-end lunch at our favorite banana leaf rice place – Legend. Since someone else was paying, I over-ordered and stuffed myself to the gills. Exercised like mad that night! 40 minutes on the stepper! Realised I’ve been super slacking in the gym department. Apparently I haven’t logged in to truefitness’s website ever since I got this laptop!

Our lunch today. Shared a “8 treasures fried rice”, fried nai pak (I don’t know what it’s called in english) with garlic and minced pork with peanuts & basil. At Oriental Cravings, 1U.

Dinner later at Peranakan Place, where we had our favorite kerabu brinjal, along with lala omelette (I don’t think I even ate 1 lala inside it!), deep fried squid with sweet chilli sauce (this is nice!) and beef rendang (very good… like the beef rendang in Madam Kwan’s “nasi bojari”).

We also had drinks at Juice Works, my fave ever juice place. For every “Peachy Christmas” that you buy, you get a free Christmas shortbread cookie. Tron said, “faster eat the cookie before it expires!”. Hmm.. I’m actually still in a pretty Christmassy mood, but the stores are already playing the “choy san dou” songs. Probably to inspire the CNY shopping frenzy. I already decided what I want to wear for CNY, but Tron is dis-allowing me. I’m very much attracted to the whole “making the old trendy again” trend. I wanted to buy stuff like these :

Gold chain print made famous by Versace. Note the scarf in background, not the bags in front.

I am loving the paisley trend!

On both counts, I’m accused by him of being “aunty”. Hmph! Anyway, here are some camwhorey shots of us:

Why do boys just love to eat the head part of a human-shaped cookie first? I guess it’s like what the Presidents of the United States sang, “I’m a boy and I love to poke and destroy.”

My feet ache like mad… wore too high heels to go out today (I didn’t know it was going to be a shopping day) and although I swapped into the new lower heels I got from Charles & Keith, I forgot the pain that one goes thru to break in a shoe. Arrgh! Anyway, I just swapped everything out from my old work bag and am loving my new Vincci bag so much! Eh, it looks so bergaya lah, hahaha, don’t care what you all say!

The new pair of shoes. Nothing to shout about wan lah, my work shoes style is always very standard. As long as it is black and understated, I will buy it. Of course, must be comfortable, max 2″ heels only!

My new bag! Loving the color too.. it’s not black, but a dark blue.

Putting all my junk into my new trunk.

New necklace for myself, and a bracelet for my friend’s birthday which is coming right up. I don’t mind posting it here as she doesn’t read my blog anyway, haha. I was so tempted to buy soooo much stuff in Diva, seriously. Rings, bracelets, more necklaces, more earrings… some more the sales assistants there today are so freaking friendly and lovely. It just makes the whole shopping experience so much nicer, don’t you think?

Oh btw, I wore this out today.. a little bit un-suitable for a shopping excursion, but I couldn’t help it as I thought the skirt was so pretty when I bought it and I wanted to wear it straightaway! (Unlike Tron , I still have not learnt the power of delayed gratification.) So many people were looking at me today, which I reckoned is weird looks, but if I see everyone wearing poofy skirts out liow, then maybe I’m a trendsetter. *perasan perasan*

Obviously my legs not as long as the model’s… but I still think the skirt made me look good leh.

Okay, it is now 11:42pm as I’m posting this up. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!! May the new year bring you much joy and happiness, success and glory, peace and love, fulfilment and satisfaction. Cheers!

“Girlfriends Are For Carrying The Heavy Stuff!” September 28, 2010

The following post was actually written about 3 weeks ago, but I’m only posting it now cos I finally got my arse to work… actually using my laptop for typing stuff instead of surfing fashion-related stuff. Honestly, I’m starting to feel like such a loooooooooser. I liked shopping at this particular website that a certain “famous blogger” kept promoting. I kinda like the style of the stuff there, I thought the quality of the products didn’t really justify the price AT TIMES, but I liked the service. How foolish I was, when I discovered a local blogshop selling stuff from the website at a fraction of the price. So I “switched alliances” and was grateful for the local blogshops… Then I found “the miracle shop” that L introduced to me, which sold things for even cheaper than the blogshops (but admittedly, so far nothing that I bought from Site 1 was found at the local blogshop and nothing I bought at the blogshop was found in the Miracle Shop.. but believe me, the supplier all SAMA.) I was happy… UNTIL!!! I found the ORIGINAL website with the ORIGINAL WAREHOUSE prices… omg. I want to vomit blood already. The blogshops are already selling at a mark-up of extra 30% MINIMUM. Some markup to 50-70%. The miracle shop was selling at a mark-up of 15-30%. The original website I got conned into by the “famous blogger” sold it at 300% profit at times! OMG!

The only problem is that of course from now on I will only want to buy at warehouse prices, but being a WAREHOUSE, you can only checkout at USD100/- bill.. which actually I can easily do so.. but I don’t want to do so ALL-THE-TIME. My point being… should I start my own blogshop? Hahahaha.. and I will sell at a mark-up of 5-10% only… =p Preferably COD as I hate dealing with postal stuff… muwahahaha… L said that his sister did something like that before but eventually gave up as the profit is not worth the hastle. I can imagine! I sold some stuff online before and meeting up with people to get the $$ and to pass the stuff… and then some people are so nitpicky.. they will ask you to model stuff left, right and center… and yourself looking like a potatoe… how can you model some more? Gosh! Headache maximus, just to get rid of a few items… chis!

Anyway, I am patiently awaiting my 4.7kg of clothes now, WTF! =) Meanwhile, this is a 3-week-late weekend update. I will most probably update again tomorrow as I’m on LEAVE. I have about 14 days left of annual leave and I’m throwing it around indiscriminately as my company doesn’t allow us to “bring forward”. Even my own mother says I’m wasting time by throwing leave and bumming around the house. I don’t really bum around… right now my hobby is “decorating”-cum-cleaning my room and baking! My colleagues don’t love me anymore when I pass around the baked goods for constructive criticism. The overfed buggers say, “Again?!” in a mourneful tone that has me stuffing the food into my mouth instead. =(

Haven’t really been into health & fitness stuff… I’m getting really lazy nowadays. This is such a shame, especially since I just renewed my gym membership 3 months back. I can’t believe that I used to go to the gym 6 times a week, and now it’s like … 3 times. If even that. I always feel too sleepy, too unmotivated and since 3 months ago … too INJURED to do much. I *did* tell you about my wonky right knee, didn’t I? It happened during a Body Combat class, and I suspect that although the push-knee movement was when my knee got traumatised, it’s actually something that only came about after I started training for marathons and what-not. [Note : I am currently on a ONE WEEK break ... and extending it to a TWO week break from the gym as I suspect I have KNEE TENDONITIS. The only solution is REST REST REST. I'm also wearing a knee guard. FYI, I have the IT Division marathon on the 8th of October, and the Body Combat Master Class is happening on the 2nd of October in Jaya33... and I don't want to miss out!! Argh! But admittedly, after 1 week of rest, my knee feels much better! At one point, I had trouble walking down the stairs!]

I really do not know how I’m going to run the Standard Chartered marathon now. My stamina and self-motivation is NOT the way it used to be. I used to keep telling myself, “You’ve gone so far now! You’re feelin’ like you can run like this forever, right Leech!?!” and now I’m telling myself, “Aiyo, 2 minutes more then you can go home and play Mafia Wars, ok?” -___- Changing your weight is easy, changing your mindset is so much more difficult! Both my dad and L tell me that I should take it easy and try swimming instead as it is not as harsh on the joints, but heck, I’m only 26! Why am I being plagued by bad joints!?! I’m really hoping it’s a temporary thing, but it’s been 3 months and it doesn’t get better… worse, maybe.

If I stop doing even 3 days a week to “rest” my knee… don’t know how much more I will deteriorate. You know what, it’s not like painful ALL the time, it’s just that occasionally there will be a sharp pang kinda feeling, and then it will go away. But after the first “indicator”, it will return two or three more times within the hour. So that’s why I don’t go to back-to-back classes as often anymore. Anyway, the StandChart marathon will be my last one. Adios~~

Oh, I finally got to try the new release of Les Mills’ Body Jam #54… there were 50% newbies in the class that day, so the instructor actually skipped the advance options and he even skipped an entire track “because it’s too difficult”, so no wonder that I found it really easy to follow. I don’t really like the performance track at the end, but everything else was SUPER. It’s like going back to the old days of Jam, and I’m loving it. Especially the Latin track! If you haven’t tried it yet, go go go!! :D As for Body Combat #45, I told Terence that it is super easy and he was offended, hahaha! He said, “Of course this is my first time teaching this class, so I’m not pushing you yet!” I really love this new release, much better than the previous one. Although there is a lot of “shoot” movement (as forewarned), it’s not as bad as the shoot in the last two releases. The starting track “No Easy Way Out” is a great way to ease us into the new release. I like “Proud Mary”, “Goin’ Out’ Swingin’” and “See The Light”. I suppose my only complains are for “Russian Roulette” (don’t even like the song to begin with) and “I Can Transform Ya” (don’t even like the song to begin with either). Hmmm…! I’m really looking forward to doing BC #45 for the next 3 weeks!

As for Body Attack #70, I really like how they are playing with directions to bring something new to the class. Other than that, nothing really different with this new release… I do feel relieved that the agility track is back to the “old” days of BA instead of having more and more new movements. Sometimes must give the members a break too. ;p While doing the class, there were 1 or 2 tracks that I quite like, but right now I can’t remember it, heh. I’m just happy that I still had the stamina to do BA right after BC.

The long weekend was really fun, especially when I went to Klang for Bak Kut Teh. Ate at the “Teluk Pulai” Bak Kut Teh restaurant… arrived at about 10:30am and the place was already PACKED, and there would be more and more people coming in! When we arrived there, my heart kinda sank because I’m not a pushy person, and there was no ‘numbering’ system. It was kind of a free-for-all table-grabbing sort of restaurant, with people who want to eat hovering over patrons who look like they are about to finish their meal. -___- However, L and I were superduper lucky, we got a place within 3 minutes! Most people didn’t know there was NO numbering system, so they stood around on the staircase up to the restaurant and waited for the busy waiters / waitresses to take notice of them. Pity!

Anyway, the bak kut teh was realllllly good. My next goal is to try the famous “dry” bak kut teh that Klang is famous for. L said that the official food for Klang is bak kut teh, with people eating it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, I have to say that MY family’s favorite bkt place at Old Klang Road is nicer. Maybe because there’s more of us so we get to try more varieties, not just pork belly and cabbage and mushrooms. But also spare ribs, “tung ku” (Chinese mushrooms), taufoo pok, intestines and stomach… yum yum yum…! :D

Here’s some old school bak kut teh pics:

Select your own packet of tea, and you have a kettle boiling along next to your table for instant refills…

Yau char kuai, and our empty packet of pu-erh tea. :)

Yummy bak kut teh… and my very own bowl of pigs intestines! L doesn’t likey… but me likey! =)

Actually, the dude with the cleaver smiled and posed for me briefly, but slow me did not snap fast enough, and as they are all busy busy people, he went back to work. Hahaha. =)

For the first time evAR, also got to visit Aeon Bukit Tinggi. Gosh, I quite like that place, yo! It looks posh (like Empire Shopping Gallery), but the shops are so much more affordable (always a plus). The crowd is more si lai, and a bit pushy, but the weird (and interesting) stuff there make up for it. I bought a “tap kuat” (er… back massager) thingy for my mom and she likes it, hahaha :

She says that it is surprisingly effective. ;P

If that place wasn’t so far, I’ll be tempted to visit it once a week. >=)

Celebrated granny’s birthday at Beauty View in Shah Alam on Sunday. My granny is now 82 years old! Happy birthday granny! It was such a fun outing, with my granny plying us with cheap red wine. Let me tell you, eating hiong pun kai (champagne chicken) while drinking some RM30 merlot is not as highly rated as it should be. ;p

My grandfather (kong kong) and my grandma… super animated lady. (Po Po)

My dad and my brother — who is being the life of the party, as you can see. -____-

My sister ( who I now have to gossip with via Facebook and gChat…) with her husband Kris.

The food of the day – yam basket (ordered by moi, inspired by sudden hankerings), spring onion and beef stir-fry, steamed fish, ‘hot plate’ sizzling tofu and champagne chicken. =)

My mom’s last minute purchase from RT Pastry… but that place seriously serves super fresh baked goods. Thumbs up!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PO PO!! :)

The choir, haha. Lol@ my mom lunging towards the cake on the right-hand side. ;)

Gosh, I love my maternal grandparents so much… and I miss them soooooo much. I want to play more mahjong with them, go out to eat with them more often in Shah Alam… I want them to know about all the things that I love in life and share with them too…. =(

Was on leave for a day or two last week, and I cooked a bit more. Getting tired of making cupcakes as I don’t like to make the icing to go on top, and that leaves the cupcake itself pretty bland (I believe the recipe has been modified to be less sweet because the chef expects you to be piling the sugar on top of the cake). After this, I plan to make : raisin scones and pineapple upside-down cake. Yippee! :P

This is carrot & onion risotto… Sprinkled with cheddar cheese instead of parmesan, but tastes pretty yummy. It was a tad bit salty though because I didn’t use low-sodium chicken broth, as recommended. ;P

I *finally* managed to make a proper carrot cupcake that was not too “wet” and that did not smell “nutty” (definitely the fault of the nutmeg!). As you can see, the outside is slightly burnt though, but it is a nice buttery yellow on the inside. Tasted good!

Banana cupcakes… nothing to shout about. My fault, should have used bananas that were riper and ‘juicier’. How was I to know that my dad would wallop everything the night before? I had to go out in the morning in a rush to grab 4 bananas from the local grocer, hahha.

Lastly, I admit, I haven’t been utilising my laptop as much as I should have. I get tied up doing nonsense stuff like playing Faerie Solitaire (it’s a HP game.. *grin*) until the wee hours of the morning. *sigh* Honestly, there’s not much that I need to go online to do. I used to like reading blogs online, but the blogs that I really like reading don’t update as much as they used to (or have closed down entirely), and I want to stop reading the ones that I read because I enjoy revelling in other people’s misery. -__- Say no to schadenfreude!

Moar pics from my HP webcam… yes, this is how I waste my time on my new laptop. :B

Whut?

I am frequently doing masks while surfing the internet. This was some honey “calming” mask from Korea or something. Pretty effective! About RM5… And that colorful hairband thingy is also from some pharmacy for like RM4. It’s practically what I wear whenever I’m online. Attractive, I know.

WHUT WHUT… some strawberry souffle mask from MJ. 3 uses for about RM6… smells super duper yummy and also quite effective leh… I love masks now. At least once a week, I say. Of course, you’d look like a fool, and ought to document yourself looking like a fool for all to see. =)

Before going out on a date. As you can tell, I hate my fringe and do not know what to do with it! Here I pinned it up, but it flopped over, so I look like I just woke up from sleep…

Nothing much, before going out also. And so happy cos this top was sent back to me from Uncle Richard (thanks Ben!) along with like 2.5kg of my clothes. You can see my new pink shelf in the corner….

Gym Stuff Yo! April 2, 2010

Quick update! I find that I have less stuff to write here… maybe because there are more stuff that I CANNOT write out nowadays. Hmm… let me talk about the 1 thing that I can always wax lyrical about … gym stuff!

Recently, True Fitness had their 1st Quarter launch… the theme was “Earth Day”, so we were encouraged to dress in green or black. Or was it green and white? Anyway, I didn’t have enough green shirts to go around, so had to wear pink in the end for Body Attack. :P Yep, I went for my Body Combat + Body Jam + Body Attack new releases… fun times. I basically was at the gym from 10:00am til 5:30pm. Hehehe.

I had already tried the Body Combat new release during the super workshop, and was really looking forward to the release in TF. Launched by Terence, Simone, Nicholas, Jayson and Phui See… it was electrifying! Great launch! Here are some pics of yours truly [all pics taken from Su-Yee's FB page, kekeke] :

Alex C asked me to take a pic with her…I think it turned out quite nice though I’m not decked out in hand wraps and all. :P

Aiyah.. Alex C kicked so fast. Push kick! I think I was blurrr!!

Putting this up cos I’m smiling so nicely in the background, hahahaa. That’s Nicholas on the stage.

Again I’m in the background lar, that’s why this is up here. Lol lol. Nicholas and Phui See.

Generally, the new release was well received by most members, except a few who thought the “shoot” movement was too awkward. I have to admit, it reallllllly works your quads and your bum-bum (Terence’s words, not mine) on that one! Soon I won’t be able to do the BC + BA back-to-back classes anymore because my legs won’t be able to take it! Also, I realised that the warm up track for BC is the intervals track for BA! Hahaha… gosh. Still love the “Love Drunk” boxing track and the finale track… very nice. Don’t like the conditioning track though…

There was a longggg break between Body Combat and Body Jam, which I went for lunch at OTK and shopping at the pharmacies (Guardian + Watsons, but Watsons wins hands down k, in terms of pricing. In terms of variety, Guardian wins!). Seriously, pharmacy shopping is soooo addictive ok. There are so many hair products, shower gels and other pampering items that you want to try… I spent like RM120 after 45 minutes…! I have so much shampoo, shower gels, masks and … BRANDS ESSENCE OF CHICKEN to try. T___T Madness!! And there’s even MORE that I wanted to buy, but I had to stop myself…

Okie, back to the gym thingy… Body Jam new release is not really up my alley… too much hip hop! But everyone else seemed to love it, so Imma not raining on their parade. However, I did enjoy the launch soooo much because I thought Zarina, Su Lin and Simone were awesome. Even though I didn’t like the movements, they made me feel like the release was great… hahaha. So kudos to them… but I don’t think I’ll try Jam after this… I don’t really have the time any more anyway. :( :(

Su-Yee asked me to pose for this because of my shirt, but I look like crap here!! Hahahhaa…

Su-Lin on the stage, and I’m in the background. Hahaha. Whatever it is I’m doing, I look good doing it, wtf.

Finally, it’s the Body Attack new release… which, same as BC, was my 2nd time doing it. :P Actually, the new release is slowly growing on me. I actually HATED it with a passion. I thought most of the songs are already overplayed on the radio, and then they had to use it for chorey, bleh. I’ve already talked about it in the previous blog entry, so dowan to be so “cheong hei”… just that I’m likin’ it more and more. ;)

Me and Frances… and Siew Fong in the background. Love it when Frances is around cos she is a fellow syiok sendiri person, you won’t feel so lonely syiok sendiri when there are other SS-ers around. :P

Heisman during agility track.

I just did Body Combat again on Monday and seriously, this is a really good release! LOVE IT! So drama… love it love it!!!! *screeching* Last gym related pic… this are a few pics from the Pushmore Open Day that I attended on the 13th of March! Looks quite gung ho eh… LOL. Thanks to Anita for telling me that there were pictures of me on their Facebook group!!

People attending the open day…. CrisChen is the one in blue who encouraged me to go, so mucho thanks, I really enjoyed myself! I also didn’t realise he is so damn biggggg

5kg medicine ball throwdown, hahaha. My friend said, “Wah, so gaya”. My reply : “Gaya orang tengah sakit!”

Me and my WOD partner…

Okay, another thing I’ve been spending $$$$$$ on is clothessss. First of all, I got myself a new dress which is quiteeee expensive for the Tan Sri’s birthday dinner in early March. I talked about it a little earlier, so here are some pictures. I think you can agree with me that the money was well spent lor. A lot of people complimented me on the dress, so I’m happy. Haha. The only thing is … where else can I wear this to next? O_o” My brother’s wedding? Hahahaha…

Pretty Mandy, me and sweet Julia! :) I think we all look good here!

My direct boss & team leader, myself and Cindy! All of us dressed in purple, which so happens to be the Tan Sri’s lucky color for this year! (I swear, I did not know that when I purchased the dress, it was not intentional!)

Me and my two favorite users in the treasury division over at the headquarters … Mr Ooi and Mr Soo! :D Mr Soo’s brother is a badminton champion in Malaysia, can you guess who?

Mr AIP, myself and Raymond. I’m darn pissed off that I’m wearing 5″ heels and I’m still shorter than both of them! Anyway, the 2 guys who I’m closest to in the bank… known them for 6.5 years already… O_O”

Preview pics of the dinner… there’s more under the cut at the bottom of this post. But I reckon if you’re on my FB, you’ve seen all of ‘em already. ;)

The welcome / march-in dancers, staff and invited performers… waiting outside the Mines Convention Center

Ahhhh… now you know who I work for..

The super duper grand hall.. love the decor…

ONE of the free gifts we got… it was a box of expensive chocolates. Super sweet… I gave them to my parents to “thank” them in a way for taking care of me when I was super sick AFTER the dinner, lol.

After buying the expensive purple-ish blue-ish dress for the Tan Sri’s birthday dinner, I bought more stuff from Yesstyle… I didn’t even show you the first round of clothes that I bought :

Huge package… for me???

My new favorite shopping site. :)

CLOTHESSSSSS!!

I would recommend these few brands in Yesstyle : Melissa, Tokyo Fashion, 59 Seconds, Puffy, Click N Funny, Spicyholic and ZOO. If you have other favorites there, do share. Hehe. Anyway, the clothes are generally accurately represented on the website… however, you have to realise that what looks good on the tall and lanky model might not work so well with you. After the 1st round of purchases, I then bought another bunch of clothes, but this time it kinda pissed me off because stuff that were in stock when I clicked on it wound up being out of stock by the time they shipped it to me! I waited 3 weeks for it to be processed only to be told that out of 6 items I bought, only 3 would be shipped to me. -___- However, they were decent in the sense that store credit points that I got were still for the 6 items that I bought, and I still got free shipping (which is only applicable when I bought 6 items, as the 6 items were above a certain amount).

Also, and this is where the crazy comes in, while I was waiting for them to look for stock for the 2nd round of purchasing, I bought even more stuff. Because new summer products came in and I was droooooling over the lovely stuff that could be worn for both casual and formal occasions. -___- Now both my 3rd round and 2nd round of shopping are being shipped to my house AT THE SAME TIME and I think my parents are going to go ballistic when they see all the online purchases…

2nd Round :

3rd round :

Talking about online purchases, I’m freaking pissed off with Aeroline. Remember my trip to Singapore early this year? Like the 1st week of January? Well, they double charged me… it was clear that the first transaction did not go through, but they charged me twice, so that the cost of my trip was like, way more expensive than any flight to Singapore. Heck, even my Tiger Airways flight cost less than the bus tickets, so I’m never taking the bus down to Sg ever again. -___- Anyway, the point is that it took Aeroline up to MARCH 23RD to refund me my money. By this time, there were finance charges racking up on my credit card and I doubt they paid for it. So yeah… consider me an EX-customer foreverly forever, and here’s me warning you to NOT take Aero-freaking-line. -____-

Ok lar, enough TCSS for this entry… see yaaaaaaaaaa. I’ll update some really backdated stuff later… like the final instalment of my sister’s wedding!!
