Ugh, bad timing to post this when it’s late at night and I am already starving after skipping dinner. The things I do to myself! Anyway, needless to say that I’m damn busy of late. Got so many things going on at work, at personal life, friends, etc. So many people I’m supposed to meet up with that I didn’t, and the list just grows. Not to say like I’m so in demand or whatever… but do you actually note how often I blog about “met up with so-and-so today”, and the so-and-so is NOT Tron or someone related to me by blood?! Very rare, right? Anyway, I hope I won’t be neglecting my friends too much, and I promise, when work is not so crazy and personal life not so crazy also, will meet up with soon!
Meanwhile, food update (lol):

Spaghetti Factory at Midvalley. One of Tron’s staple choices cos he likes all the “Organic!” and “No additional preservatives!” that they paste everywhere. TBH, I find it a bit bland, but I do agree that for the price it is ok la.

Paddington House of Pancakes. This one, I quite like… but Tron banned this place already. Cos he says that the food sucks… but that’s because he doesn’t know what to order. Who goes to house of PANCAKES and orders aglio olio. I know right? What a nutter.

After Empire re-opened, this was where we made a beeline for… we missed Din Tai Fung badly! Hahaha… missed my siu loong pau and la mian!

This is some really nice, posh Japanese restaurant in Mont Kiara… Super good food! As usual, Tron humbly ordered the cha soba, while I ordered some massive Japanese lunch set that contained pregnant fish, fried oysters, sashimi, tempura, and goodness knows what other side dishes. Damn worth my RM50 lo.

Sugimoto again with Tron! The stuff here is super good, and very worth it considering the price. As usual, we went overboard.. both of us ordered lunch sets that contained one main, and some noodles. The lunch set is insane!! Who would eat a sashimi bowl, and have a side of a huge bowl of udon? Who would eat a teppanyaki rice bowl and have some soba to wash it down?! And on top of all that, we had the Volcano Roll some more. By the way, must remember to NOT order this roll anymore! It looks good, but not enough salmon for my taste! =p

We are starting to frequent Vietnam Kitchen more and more ever since we banned D’Italianne Kitchen and recently – Oriental Pavilion. The latter is because they make us wait darn long, but we can see when big parties arrive, they seat them immediately! Ya, I guess it’s good business acumen to serve those who will order more, but Oriental Pavilion – don’t forget that we are your FREQUENT customers. Now we boycott you you sure miss us wan lah.
Anyway, the food at Vietnam Kitchen is seriously not bad! Not such a bad thing to ban restaurants left and right, cos we discover places where it’s less crowded, better service and now have a thing for the lovely little set lunches there, which comes with very addictive spring rolls!

sugimoto!!! we go there too! awesome food at affordable price!
the place is awesome! thinking of bringing some galpals there for big makan soon!
